'MyUtd' Website Application

For this project organised by myself, I set myself the task of creating a website application to showcase different 'Manchester United' matches I had attended as well as players and managers I had seen and all-time statistics.

'Home Sweet Home Front' Website (University Project)

For this project organised by myself, I was set the task by the clients of creating a re-designed website. This related to a current website called 'Home Sweet Home Front', focusing on the British Home Front during the Second World War.

For this project organised by myself, I set myself the task of creating a website application, using new technologies to improve my skillset, allowing 'Manchester United' fans to view players with their information and statistics.

For this project organised by myself, I was set the task by the clients of creating a completely new professional and attractive website. This was for a charitable organisation called 'The Charitable Foundation for the Education of Nepalese Children'.

'Whitchurch Silk Mill' Project (University Project)

For this group project, my group and I chose to undertake two briefs regarding 'Whitchurch Silk Mill', combining both of these to create one final outcome. This entailed creating interactive 3D loom and waterwheel models on a miniature website.

'Cherry Childcare' Website (University Project)

For this group project, my group and I were assigned the task of creating a re-designed website for a childcare organisation called 'Cherry Childcare'. I acted as the main developer for this website.

'RSA' Project (University Project Y2S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of choosing a brief from the 'RSA' website. I chose a brief which entailed creating a product, service or system to help health by improving sleep. The outcome was an application prototype called 'SleepSaviour'.

For this group project, I was assigned the task of creating a website for my year group at university which would have then been potentially voted to act as the year group's website for the rest of my time as a student at the university.

Motion Graphics Workshop Project (University Project Y2S2)

For this project, I was assigned the task of creating a motion graphics piece, selecting either a provided brief or creating one of my own. I chose a provided brief, creating an educational infographics piece about 'Manchester United's' 2016/17 'Premier League' season.

2D/3D Character Animation (University Project Y2S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of creating a stylised 2D or 3D character which demonstrated movement. The outcome of this was a jumping monkey called 'Mono Chimp'.

Social Media Campaign (University Project Y2S2)

For this project, I was assigned the task of promoting my own website through a social media campaign using various platforms. The name I chose was 'DHW Development' which has further progressed into the social media channels used to promote myself as a website developer in the industry.

'Transmedia 2018' (University Project)

My year group and I were assigned the task of organising the course's 'End of Year Show' ('EOYS') for 2018. My role was mainly contributing to the website with others but I also contributed to other areas where possible.

Interactive Design Project (University Project Y1S2)

For this group project, my group and I were assigned the task of creating an interactive project to engage people with digital media and/or digital technology at the course's 'End of Year Show' ('EOYS') for 2017. My group and I decided to create two outcomes whereby I contributed to creating a coding activity.

Mobile Device Project (University Project Y1S2)

For this group project, my group and I were assigned the task of creating a prototype of either a mobile, portable or integrated device, creating a visual prototype as well as demonstrating a running interface for the device. We created smart ski goggles called 'Enerski Xtreme'.

For this group project, my group and I were assigned the task of creating a game concept for an instructional computer game for those aged between 11 and 15 years. This game was called 'Quiz Fighter'.

Kinetic Typography Piece (University Project Y1S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of creating a 30 second video, using 'Adobe After Effects', for either song lyrics or a film script and to demonstrate this through the use of kinetic typography. I based this project on my favourite band, 'Coldplay', and chose one of their songs ('Adventure of a Lifetime').

Traditional Artist Poster (University Project Y1S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of designing a piece of digital art relating to the style of either an artist, art movement, designer or illustrator. I chose to integrate both the style of Roy Lichtenstein and the 'Pop Art' movement, basing the poster on Ant and Dec, highlighting their show called 'Saturday Night Takeaway'.

Charity Sports Poster (University Project Y1S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of designing a poster for a fictitious sporting event to mainly reflect what had been learnt in the lesson that week. I based my poster on a football charity match, deciding to include both 'Manchester United' and 'Chelsea' with the venue being 'Old Trafford'.

Promotional Flyer (University Project Y1S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of designing a promotional flyer using colour to emphasise portrayed information. This was either with or without using software. For my promotional flyer, I focused on the company 'Microsoft', promoting the 'XBOX ONE S FIFA 17 Bundle'.

'ISTD' Mini Project (University Project Y1S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of choosing an 'ISTD' brief and undertaking a miniature version of this during the allocated two weeks. The brief I chose entailed choosing a chapter from a banned book, visually interpreting this as a digitally dynamic book. I chose to base my piece on chapter 1 of 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'.

3D Channel Ident (University Project Y1S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of creating a 3D logo for either a title sequence or channel ident. I chose to create this for a channel ident, focusing on the 'BBC'.

Sketches on Campus (University Project Y1S1)

For this project, I was assigned the task of observing areas on the campus of the 'University of Winchester', sketching quick outlines of these through the use of an 'iPad' device. Each area on campus aimed to be allocated a maximum of 15 minutes.
