This guide is to give you information on what to expect when your child starts nursery and how you can help.

Starting nursery is a major change in your child's life and can be an unsettling experience for both you and your child, so every effort is made to ensure a smooth settling in process.

Paying for your Childcare

30 Hours 'Funded' Childcare

The current 15 hours of free entitlement is now known as the Universal 15 Hours and applies to all three year olds. The additional 15 hours which is subject to an eligibility criteria is known as the Extended 15 Hours.

Booking extra Sessions

You can book extra sessions using our online request forms. Please visit the page for your nursery from the 'Find Nursery' menu above and choose 'Change Session' from the menu at the top on the individual nursery page.
